You might think that thin, delicate, minty string that you pull through your teeth is not an important tool for oral care, however you are DEAD WRONG!
That small string is what gets into those small crevices that your toothbrush cant! The gentle back and forth motion of this string eliminates any food particles
and bacteria stuck in between your teeth and your gum line. Often, people assume your toothbrush is all you need and floss is just an additional precaution you can take,
however they actually go together like peanut butter and jelly and should be used that way, together!
Flossing also prevents cavities and no one likes cavities!
Our best advice i to carry a small packet of floss in your purse or pocket and give your mouth a quick floss and rinse after all meals and certain snacks that are more likely to get caught in your teeth. Just be sure to not dig the string in to vigorously! There is such a thing as "too much"! You do not want to cause any swelling or bleeding!
